Kirna Zabête at Target - Chic options for the modern woman

I love the collaborations that Target has been doing lately and Kirna Zabête is one of my favorite.  Many people may not have heard of Kirna Zabête before and that's what I love about Target:  they bring these hidden fashion gems (in this case, the dynamic duo and founders (Sarah Easley and Beth Buccini) of the chic SoHo boutique that carries many emerging designers) to the Target shoppers across the country who may have never heard of a particular designer or brand, but have fallen in love with the designs and at a price they can afford.  I love that.

I watched the Kirna Zabête documentary and immediately fell in love with the store's concept and their philosophy:

"More is more."

"Elevate an average outfit with some twisting and tweaking."

You feel the passion for clothing from both Sara and Beth and their desire to, "bring downtown cool to America".  I also love that they really stand behind each clothing piece designed for their Target collaboration and I think they represent what the modern woman (and fashionista mama) wants:  bold colors, fun designs, affordable clothing!

As a busy mom, I also appreciate the 'curated effect' that the new 'Shop at Target' have created.  Each Target Shop, such as Kirna Zabête has its own section within the Target website and its own feel. Here are my top 5 picks from the Kirna Zabête for Target that would look great for Fall 2012:

1. Kiss Print Fedora

2. Bronze Dusted Bracelet

3. Burgundy Sleeveless Metallic Dress

4. Floral Tie-Front Dress

5. Red Geometric Print Dress

All of these items above are $50 or less!!!  I love a great dress and these dresses can be worn with heels or flat for during the day or evening. I encourage everyone to check out this great collection of clothing for a dose of NYC downtown cool at amazing prices.

Ciao!
